My name is Gabriella (Gabby) I am a multi-disciplinary artist , I created The Almondsugary as a persona and creative practice. My sister page is AntiQ.photography, as my brand builds you will see a section for my photography work and prints available.
Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand my journey as an artist has only just began ..
I started out as a photographer and moved into sculpting/special effects/makeup. My focus has always been artistic but only since New Zealands first Covid 19 lockdown at the beginning of 2020, have I started to refine my art and properly explore my practices.
Since then it has been my goal to make a sustainable business from the thing that makes my life feel worth living. I envision The Almondsugary as a brand that conveys inclusivity, relatablity and connectivity. A place for me to express my experiences with PTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic pain,bi/pan sexuality and an overarching story of my journey into finding comfort and peace in a world that feels immensely uncomfortable.
